Bring Dariya Home
Okay, so it's been awhile since we posted last, but this post is of utmost importance. We are asking you to participate in Bring Dariya Home. Some very good friends of ours (the Cannon family) are in the process of adopting a beautiful little girl from Eastern Europe. International adoptions are almost prohibitively expensive, so we are asking you to donate a little (or a lot) to help the Cannons Bring Dariya Home. The perk to this tax-deductible donation via Reece's Rainbow is that you can put your name "in the hat" to win an iPad and many other wonderful prizes.
Entry is quite simple:
1. Go to the Cannon's blog and click on the Reece's Rainbow Donate button. OR click on the link below, which will take you directly to donation site.
2. Follow detailed instructions to make tax-deductible donation.
3. Go back to the Cannon's blog"> and comment that you made a donation. This will automatically register you to win the fabulous prizes listed.
4. HURRY! The giveaway runs through Friday March 4, 2011 at midnight. All winners will be announced here Monday March 7, 2011.

Snow Day
We were lucky enough to have a snow day today, which was great because it was a Monday...so no gym or OT for the little man. We DID get a little stir crazy around the noon hour and decided to get bundled up and head outdoors to examine the snow. Eli LOVED it! So did his dad...

Yes, folks, that is a green ski-worthy outfit in the Newborn size from GAP. My almost-two-year-old fits into it perfectly...weight guideline 17-22 lbs. (Side note: I would like to know WHO is having newborns weighing in at 17-22 lbs.)

"Shoveling" with a dustpan...just like dad.

Bundled up in my pumpkin green and orange.

Consulting with dad on the shoveling process.

"I'll take it from here, Papa!"

Checking out the snow up close...

Putting gloves back on with dad.

Fun at Home
Today's photos are something that Eli is totally fascinated with in our house. Garbage. Well, not exactly garbage, but the wooden structure that houses our trash can in the kitchen. Recently, I took the garbage out to the garage only to find that he had opened the wooden door and found a new fort.
I am envisioning a perfect place for future time-outs. Just kidding....well, maybe...
