Happy 11 Months, Little Man! Once again, I cannot believe another month has passed. You are growing up so quickly and we are enjoying every second of it.

We love you!

Sick :(

Eli is sick with RSV/Bronchiolitis...at least, that's what they think it is. I tend to think that RSV is simply a default sickness that doctors go to when they are a little unsure of what someone has...something generic for any type of respiratory infection. He has been feverish for the past few days and lethargic. I also think that he's getting some brand-new teeth in, so I am sure that "helps."

Doctor's appt. was NOT fun this a.m. They had to draw two vials of blood via finger prick...it took forever and he screamed the entire time. Then they took chest x-rays to rule our pneumonia. It's one of those days that makes you thankful that you're a parent, but frustrated that you can't take the pain away.

Needless to say, we will be staying in for a while. Poor little guy.

Crawling and Standing

Wow - it's been a while since the latest blog entry. We have hit some significant milestones as of late. Eli is now standing and crawling on his belly (video soon to come). He's also babbling and saying da da da. While it warms my heart to hear da da da, Darin says that he hasn't connected the word with Dad yet and is waiting for that. Oh that dad is so tough to please!

One of Eli's favorite activities is to watch the bath water run before getting in the tub. As you can see from the photo, he get's quite entranced by the sound of the water. Gotta love the baby tush!

10 Month Photos

Okay, so 10 Month Photos did not go so well...you think that we would stop after photos in the plaid chair. But no, Mom had to push it...the following is a glimpse of the furor. If you look closely, you can see a natural progression in his bad mood.

Lollipop Drum

Christmas with the Wagners

We celebrated Christmas with the Wagners this past weekend and had a wonderful time. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for all of the wonderful gifts and meals. We always have a great time in Springfield, especially with Eli's cousins Natalie (almost 5) and Logan (almost 3). The following are some photos from our time there.

Reading the real story of Christmas with Grandma Wagner

One of Mom's favorite gifts - homemade wine from Great Grandma and Grandpa Fedler

Playing the drum with Logan - note: Logan desperately wanted to help Eli, but Eli wanted to do it himself.

Eli with one of his favorite girls, cousin Natalie.

Sitting up...kind of.

Banging on the Lollipop Drum!
